Utah Desert Wedding, Kenzie & Mike

I was so excited when Kenzie asked me to photograph her and Mike’s wedding! Kenzie is an amazing wedding photographer herself, so I felt extremely honored that she chose me to be the one to capture her big day!
I knew I was going to love photographing their wedding, not only because Kenzie is a good friend of mine, but because her and Mike are such wonderful people. Their wedding was very beautiful, relaxed and laid back, just like them. They also had one of my most favorite wedding planners, Belle Bodas and Events, planning their wedding, so I knew it would be nothing short of amazing down to every single detail!
The couple wanted their family and closest friends to be able to come celebrate with them for a fun relaxing weekend, so they rented a large cabin called Pheasant Run Outfitters in Gunnison, Utah, where they could all stay and have a good time. I loved this idea because everyone was able to celebrate and enjoy themselves without having to worry about returning home that night.

Kenzie and Mike’s wedding day was filled with so much love. Love between them and their family and friends. It was amazing to be able to witness this and to be able to capture such emotion.

They started their day off by getting ready in their rooms separately, then reading their vows to each other in private, followed by a first look between Kenzie and her father. The couple didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony, so we had them read their vows to each other in separate door ways. It was such a sweet, quiet moment, just the two of them exchanging their vows to each other with no one else around. It couldn’t of been more perfect.
